The boarding school for young delinquents TVU “Maxim Gorki” in Gabrovtsi, Bulgaria has been closed for some time, but the building still bares the traces of existence of those who were sent here to be re-educated and reformed. As we went through the files of four of the boys boarded here in the 90s, we tried to relate to their personal stories. A discussion on disobedience, education, family, connections, and attempts to help others.
