Interior-light
For this performance, we collectively generated the texts and created the performance, having videos from Mihai Păcurar’s personal archive as a starting point. We dealt with topics such as presence, manipulation of audience, rhythm and overlapping plans, and concepts such as evil, ego, love, depression, and distortion of reality. I also created the music and I am performing it live.
Four performers have been commissioned by a director to create a performance about identity crisis and the depression that follows, but it’s unclear how far they should go. They could mess up, they could never come back from this. But there are many ways of dealing with the situation: mindfulness sessions, distressing incursions into the past, abandonment and so on.
